Patna: The Bharatiya Janata Party will give its views on a strong Lokpal Bill in Parliament after it is tabled there during the upcoming monsoon session, a senior party leader said on Tuesday.

“We will give our considered views on a strong Lokpal Bill in Parliament once it is brought after the approval for debate,” BJP national spokesperson Syed Shahnawaz Hussain told reporters here.

It is because of the BJP and its top leader L.K. Advani that the twin issues of corruption and black money will be debated, he claimed.

“Had Prime Minister Manmohan Singh heeded the demand of BJP on black money and scams, he would have prevented criticism and reprimand from the Supreme Court,” he said.
