Protecting offspring from any danger is the ultimate focus of the parents. However, mothers remain more concerned for their babies in comparison to fathers. The rule is also applicable to the animal kingdom. In this internet age, we can find several videos that show animals sacrificing their lives to save their offspring.

However, here we bring a video that recently surfaced on social media. The video shows a brave cow launching an attack on a Royal Bengal Tiger to save its calf.

As seen in the video, a herd of cattle is seen running out of panic on an open field. Meanwhile, the tiger approaches the herd.

However, the calf runs on another side getting away from its herd. The tiger starts chasing the calf finding it alone.

The calf runs confusingly as the tiger continues to chase it. After chasing for a while, the wild cat pounds on the calf and grabs it with its sharp claws. The calf continues to scream loudly while remaining in the clutch of the tiger.

Miraculously, before the tiger could tear apart the calf with its jaws, the cow starts chasing the tiger. Instead of attacking, the tiger ran away from the spot leaving its prey back and didn’t attack the cow either.

The video shared on Twitter by Indian Forest Service (IFS) official Parveen Kaswan has been viewed over 72K times. The brave move of the cow has won the hearts of netizens and users have praised the ‘power of a mother’.

As claimed by some users, the incident occurred in Uttarakhand’s Puari district.
