Rourkela: Three persons, including a couple, were arrested on the charge of defrauding a jewellery shophere, police said today.

The accused purchased gold ornaments worth around Rs 7.15 lakh on February 17 from a local jewellery shop. They paid Rs 61,000 and issued a cheque for the rest amount.

The cheque bounced.They were arrested on Monday.
