Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently announced at a virtual summit that India is willing to share its AI-based language platform, Bhashini, with all member nations of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO).

This move aims to promote inclusivity, remove language barriers, and support the organisation's goals.

India's commitment to utilising digital technology for positive outcomes and the development of inclusive growth is underscored by this important step.

PM Modi made this statement while addressing a virtual summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO).

"We are happy to offer Bhashini, India's language platform driven by AI, to all members of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) in order to overcome language obstacles. This endeavor can be a great example of using digital technology to promote inclusive development," he mentioned in his speech at the online SCO summit.

Speaking at the 23rd SCO Summit, attended by the Presidents of Russia and China, he emphasised, "This can be a prime example of using digital technology to promote inclusive growth."

PM Modi's proposition to share Bhashini further enhances the cooperative spirit of the organisation and underscores the importance of leveraging technology to overcome language barriers that hinder effective communication and collaboration.
