Today is Diwali, the festival of lights and how can the Indian players keep themselves away from the celebrations? Ahead of their clash against the Netherlands, the players took out time of their busy schedule and celebrated the festival with their families and loved ones.
The players got together with the support staff members and celebrated Diwali joyfully in Bangalore. All the players were seen in their best traditional outfits as they laughed and shared memorable moments with each other’s families.
BCCI took to Instagram and gave everyone a glimpse of the Diwali celebrations. The video shows all the players at the hotel with their families. India skipper Rohit Sharma arrived at the party with his cute little daughter and wife Ritika.
Similarly, Ravindra Jadeja arrived at the party accompanied by his gorgeous wife Rivaba Jadeja. Dressed in a simple saree, Rivaba gave the vibes of a true Indian woman. Similarly, Shardul Thakur was also accompanied by his wife to the party.
However, everyone’s eyes were on the dashing couple Virat Kohli and his wife Anushka Sharma. Dressed in a pink salwar kameez, Anushka Sharma looked gorgeous with little makeup. She seemed very happy and delighted during the party.
On the other hand, Virat was seen in a jolly mood and was seen cracking jokes with Mohammed Shami and other players. Ishaan Kishan, and Shubman Gill also made their presence felt and were seen having fun with each other.
The theme of the party was, 'count your memories, not your calories'. Also present at the party were Bumrah, Suryakumar Yadav, Kuldeep Yadav, Rahul Dravid, KL Rahul, and Mohammed Siraj.
