The India vs South Africa second Test is being played at Newlands, Capetown, SA. Both teams are giving their best on the field. India have been winning hearts after Indian bowlers, especially Mohammed Siraj did a commendable job to bowl out South Africa for 55 runs.

However, it is Virat Kohli who is winning hearts for a special gesture towards a South African player. Virat’s sweet gesture for South African cricketer Dean Elgar who was playing his last match in international cricket is too adorable to be missed.

After India were out for 153 runs, Dean Elgar came out to bat for his final time in international cricket. Unfortunately, he was dismissed for 12 runs by Mukesh Kumar following a catch by Kohli. While Mukesh Kumar jumped in celebration, Kohli made sure that South Africa captain got the best farewell in his last international match.

Kohli bowed down to Elgar and also asked the crowd to bow down for the batter and show respect to him for his contribution to cricket. On Virat’s request, the crowd also bowed down for the batter as he walked back to the dugout.

Virat’s lovely gesture has gone viral on social media with fans heaping praises on the run-machine for showing sportsmanship.

“This is why Virat is called a genuine person, respect bahut zyada badh gayi for you bhai,” commented a fan.
