When Morrison shouldered a cheerleader
Former New Zealand speedster Danny Morrison is known for his care-free attitude. He is an individual with a happy-go-lucky approach on the field. He often does the pitch report before IPL matches and in one such instance, he was seen carrying a cheerleader on his shoulders. However, he was severely criticized by several fans and experts for the incident.
When Morrison lifted Karishma Kotak
Morrison was once doing pre-match IPL analysis with British Indian model Karishma Kotak. At once, he took the female presenter closer and then grabbed her by the waist. Then out of the blues, Morrison lifted Karishma with his right hand with a jerk and then showed his dance moves for a couple of seconds. During that time, both had a microphone in their hands. The development didn’t go down well with several fans and experts.
When a lady offered apples to the umpire
The bizarre incident unfolded during the match between Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and the defunct Rising Pune Supergiant (RSG) at the Eden Gardens. The umpire walked on to the field and was hilariously offered apples instead of balls by a beautiful woman. He took one apple, signalled no and gave it back. He did the same with the next apple as well. The third time saw the umpire being given the ball. Though it was a funny moment, the antic didn’t go down well with several fans and experts who didn’t mince any words in saying that it was an embarrassing moment. They were of the opinion that it and wasn’t a healthy moment in the T20 league.
When Siddharth Mallya lip-locked with Deepika Padukone
Another controversial and embarrassing moment happened at the Eden Gardens in 2011. The incident happened between Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone and Siddharth Mallya, son of liquor baron Vijay Mallya. The duo was in an alleged relationship back then before reportedly breaking up in 2012. After RCB won the game by nine wickets, Siddharth was spotted with Deepika in his arms. Both were seen engrossed in a passionate lip-lock, celebrating RCB’s thumping victory.

A number of pictures with Katrina and Siddharth being together spread like wildfire on social media platforms during an earlier edition of IPL. However, one of their photos furrowed a lot of eyebrows. In one of the post-match parties in the IPL, the duo was caught in a rather awkward position.
