Flamboyant batsman and regular skipper of Indian cricket team, Rohit Sharma, who is missing in the South Africa T20I series, was spotted playing gully cricket in Mumbai ahead of the England series.

The Hitman, as he is popular among the cricket buffs, seemed to have impressed the fans with his huge hit while playing gully cricket. He turned back and smiled at the camera after playing the huge shot.

Rohit has not been in good touch recently in the Indian Premier League (IPL) where he could not hit a single fifty during Mumbai Indians’ campaign and the poor form of their skipper hurt them. Rohit managed to score only 268 runs at a strike rate of 120 and his franchise finished last in IPL 2022.

Rohit is all set to return as India captain in the Test against England. The right-handed opener would be a key player in the Test against a strong English side.

A couple of days back, Rohit was in the Maldives on a holiday with his family. The break would surely have helped relax Rohit prepare for the gruelling season ahead.
