Fan proposes to his girlfriend during WTC Final at Oval, video goes viral- watch

The fourth day of the ongoing World Test Championship (WTC) Final at the oval was an action-packed day. Not only India and Australia fought tooth and nail on the ground, but some fans had also a great day off the ground.

A fan on the stand enjoyed probably the life of his day as he proposed her girlfriend. During India’s second innings, the camera panned on to an Indian couple. A person on his knees was found proposing his girlfriend. The girl also accepted the proposal gleefully.

Moreover, the couple kissed each other as the spectators around them clapped and cheered for them. Not just spectators, commentators could not stop commenting about the incident.

Former Team India Head Coach Ravi Shastri said, “It’s all happening at the Oval.”

However, former Australian skipper Ricky Ponting was quick to take a savage dig at the couple.

“Some people can do nay thing to come on television,” said Ponting.

Meanwhile, former Sri Lanka cricketer Kumar Sangakkara was glad that the girl said yes.
