Odisha BJP Blasts BJD Sycophancy, Says People Will Give Befitting Reply To 'Naveen Is God' Talk

Taking a direct aim at none other than CM Naveen Patnaik, the saffron party today lambasted the BJD supremo for breeding sycophancy. 

The main opposition party has latched on to the exhortation made by Odisha Deputy Speaker Rajanikant Singh that Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik is the God of 4.5 crore Odias at a government function in Angul. 

Addressing at the distribution ceremony of Smart Health Cards under Biju Swasthya Kalyan Yojana in Angul district on November 20, Rajanikant Singh had likened CM Naveen Patnaik is the God of 4.5 crore people of Odisha.

Making a frontal attack today, the BJP alleged that the Deputy Speaker did so with an intention to please the CM. And the CM, who was seen sitting through the Deputy Speaker’s speech, didn't  taking any objection to it bares all, alleged BJP.

"This shows the CM is encouraging sycophancy in the BJD. The Deputy Speaker's likening of CM to God is not spontaneous, he might have been directed to exhort so," charged BJP leader Kalindi Samal . 

Castigating the BJD, the BJP leader said people of Angul will never tolerate to this sycophancy and the 4.5 cr Odias will give a give befitting reply to the ruling party at an appropriate time.
