"One should not choose the path of suicide due to problems. We should face the problems, and with blessings from Lord Jagannath, everything will be solved. We should move forward in life with this kind of faith and belief. We should not break down so easily due to problems," said Odisha State Commission for Women member Urmila Mahapatra.

"Two doctors are currently providing treatment to the patient. We are going to meet the Burn Unit departmental head of the hospital, Dr Sanjay Giri. As there is a large number of patients here at the hospital, the patient has not been shifted to the Burn Ward ICU due to the unavailability of beds. We are trying to shift her to the Burn Unit. Her husband and father said that there was no reason to commit suicide. Her father was also saying that the family life between the wife and husband was very good. We don't know the reason behind her suicide. We are trying to find the reason," she added.
