Suspected blast reported 12 km away PM Modi's rally venue in Jammu
A "suspected blast" took place nearly 8 to 12 km away from the Palli village in Jammu district hours ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit, said officials on Sunday morning.
The blast, which occurred at on agricultural land in the Laliana village, was reported by local villagers.
According to ANI reports, the police is suspecting a lightning strike or a meteorite. The investigation is currently underway, said Jammu & Kashmir Police.

PM Modi is arriving here to attend the Panchayat Raj Diwas at Palli Gram Panchayat in Samba district.
This is the Prime Minister's first visit to J&K after the abrogation of Article 370 on August 5, 2019.
