BJP organises 'Panch Parmeshwar Sammelan’ in Delhi

In a massive display of organisational strength ahead of the MCD (Municipal Corporation of Delhi) elections, more than one lakh workers of the BJP attended party's ‘Panch Parmeshwar Sammelan’ which kicked off at Ramlila Maidan in Delhi on Sunday.

Addressing the gathering, BJP president JP Nadda said that the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government in Delhi has become synonymous with scams and broken the records of corruption set by the Congress.

"The AAP has become a party of scams. It has broken all records of corruption set by the Congress. It needs to go," Nadda said at the event.

The BJP chief said the Kejriwal-led party had promised to provide a clean government in Delhi, "but it has committed scams in the excise department, in the purchase of DTC buses, in the construction of toilets and in the Delhi Jal Board". "Five of their MLAs are out on bail," he added.

"The BJP will trounce the AAP in the MCD polls and thereafter, in the Assembly election. Tell the people of Delhi about the AAP's corruption," he told BJP workers.

Speaking on the occasion, party's National Vice President Baijayant Panda said, "More than 1 lakh party workers including the leaders of Delhi are present here. BJP is the only party that can hold the meeting with over 1 lakh workers, whereas other parties hire people to hold padyatras. This shows our party's organisational strength."

"BJP is the largest political party in the world. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah and Party President JP Nadda, we are taking the nation forward. Even Delhi has a positive response towards the party," Panda added.
