Meditation is an ideal way to rest and be ready simultaneously. It's a skill that lets you connect with your inner self and calms your mind. Set aside a dedicated time and space for meditation. It’s important to have an appropriate time and place to practise meditation to establish a routine and create a peaceful environment. This can be as simple as finding a quiet corner in your home or setting aside time before bed or after waking up.

Begin with deep breathing exercises. Deep breathing not only helps to calm the mind but also helps to regulate the body’s relaxation response. Start by taking slow, deep breaths through the nose and exhaling through the mouth. Focus on your breath and let go of any thoughts or distractions. After twenty deep inhales and exhales, the bowl becomes clear.

You may try out guided meditations or use visualisation techniques. Guided meditations can be helpful for those who are new to meditation, as they provide structure and guidance for the practice. These can be found in abundance on YouTube and the Internet. Visualisation techniques, such as imagining a peaceful scene or focusing on a positive affirmation, can also be effective in calming the mind. Your life's qualities, confidence, and happiness all will benefit from this.

Incorporate mindfulness into your daily activities. Mindfulness is the practice of bringing awareness to the present moment, without judgement. Merging mindfulness into daily activities, such as eating, walking, or even brushing your teeth, can help to cultivate a peaceful mind.

Find a meditation practice that works for you. Meditation is a personal practice, and it’s important to find a method that resonates with you. This may require experimentation and trying out different techniques, such as mindful movement, mantra repetition, or loving-kindness meditation. The key is to find a practice that feels comfortable and effective in bringing peace to the mind.
