UPSC To Engage 10 SO Level Consultants, Check Details

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has issued an advertisement regarding engagement of retired Central Government employees on contract basis as Section Officer Level Consultants in its office.

The applications have been invited from the Central Govt servants, who have retired or will retire by 31.03.2022 as Section Officers or equivalent-level from any Ministry/ Department or its attached/ subordinate offices, for preparation of panel for engagement as Consultants at Section Officer Level in the Office of UPSC.

“Interested candidates, who fulfil the eligibility criteria, may submit their application in the prescribed proforma in sealed cover super-scribed “Application for engagement as Consultant (Section Officer Level) on contract basis in UPSC” which should reach this office latest by 21/03/2022,” the advertisement read.

No. of Consultants to be Engaged: 10 (Ten) SO Level Consultants

Age Limit (as on 1.04.2022): Should not have attained the age of 62 years

Remuneration Per month: To be calculated by deducting the basic pension from the pay drawn at the time of retirement (as per D/o Expenditure OM dated 09.12.2020).

Period of engagement The engagement shall be initially for a period up to 31.03.2023 which may be extended/curtailed depending upon the performance of the Consultant or functional requirement of the Office. No Extension will be granted beyond the age of 65 years.
