The Indian Air Force has released an official notification for the recruitment of Agniveervayu. 

Interested and eligible candidates can apply online at agnipathvayu.cdac.in. 

The application window opens on July 8 at 11 am and closes on July 28 at 11 pm.

Both male and female candidates can apply for the IAF Agniveervayu recruitment. The selection test will commence from October 18.

IAF Agniveervayu Recruitment 2024: Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit 

Candidates should be born between July 3, 2004, and January 3, 2008 (inclusive). If a candidate clears all stages of the selection process, their upper age limit on the date of enrolment should be 21 years.

Marital Status and Pregnancy 

Only unmarried candidates are eligible. Furthermore, only unmarried Agniveervayu will be eligible for selection in the regular cadre as Airman. Female candidates must also commit not to become pregnant during the four-year engagement period.

Educational Qualification

Science Subjects

Candidates should have passed Intermediate/10+2/Equivalent examination with Mathematics, Physics, and English from Education Boards recognized by Central, State, and UT, with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.

Or

Passed a three-year Diploma Course in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Automobile / Computer Science / Instrumentation Technology / Information Technology) from a Central, State, and UT recognized Polytechnic institute with 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in the Diploma Course (or in Intermediate/Matriculation if English is not a subject in the Diploma Course).

Or

Passed a two-year Vocational Course with non-vocational subjects viz. Physics and Mathematics from Education Boards recognized by Central, State, and UT, with 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in the Vocational Course (or in Intermediate/Matriculation if English is not a subject in the Vocational Course).

Other than Science Subjects

Passed Intermediate/10+2/Equivalent Examination in any stream/subjects from Education Boards recognized by Central, State, and UT, with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.

Or

Passed a two-year Vocational Course from Education Boards recognized by Central, State, and UT, with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in the Vocational Course (or in Intermediate/Matriculation if English is not a subject in the Vocational Course).
