Kendrapara: After giving the cops a slip almost for two decades, a gangster involved in a series of crimes including contract killing, was arrested today along with his two accomplices.
35-year-old Kabula Singh, who stayed at the top of the list of wanted criminals of Kendrapara police, was arrested from near Jagatjore. He was nabbed after police conducted a raid in his hideout on a tip off, said Kendrapara Superintendent of Police Narasingha Bhol.
Singh was wanted in as many as 32 criminal cases including murder, contract killing, attempts to murder and extortion. Two of his accomplices - Biswa Ranjan Rath and Ajay Das - were also taken into custody. Arms, mobile phones and cash were recovered from their possession, he said.
