Shraddha Kapoor cracks biggest deal of her career; surges ahead of Alia Bhatt, Kiara Advani

The most sought-after actress in Bollywood has been flooded with offers ever since the sequel with Rajkummar Rao as the male lead became a big hit. Shraddha Kapoor is known for doing very few films in every couple of years. And that is why despite getting multiple offers, the actress kept on waiting for the right project and now it seems has landed on the right deal for which she was looking for.

Shraddha Kapoor signs high-concept thriller with Ekta Kapoor

The next Baaghi actress movie will be Ekta Kapoor’s high-concept thriller directed by Rahi Anil Barve. The movie will hit the floors in the second half of this year. But the biggest news is that Shraddha Kapoor is being paid a whopping amount of 17 crores for this project. It is easily one of the highest upfront fees received by any Bollywood actress to date.

What’s more the deal also ensures that the ABCD 2 actress will get a profit share in the overall collections of the film. According to a leading portal, “Apart from an upfront acting fee, Shraddha Kapoor has also got a profit-sharing clause added in her agreement. She will be getting a certain percentage of share in the profits post the film's release, over and above the acting fees of Rs. 17 crores."

It means now Shraddha Kapoor is the highest-paid Bollywood actress just behind Deepika Padukone and has surged ahead of topmost actresses like Alia Bhatt and Kiara Advani.
