Rocky Bhai Vs Pushpa? This Amitabh - Shatrughan starrer sparks possible collab speculations between iconic characters

The last few years have been dominated by two big superstars – KGF’s Rockybhai, played by Yash, and the title role of Pushpa 1 and 2, portrayed by Allu Arjun. Both these characters have a tremendous fan following and were loved by the audience across India. These movies and characters made Yash and Allu Arjun pan-India stars.

Strong onscreen rivalry between Amitabh and Shatrughan Sinha

During the 70s and 80, Amitabh Bachchan and Shatrughan Sinha were big stars and often were pitted against each other. Be it Dostana or Naseeb, whenever these two actors came together on the screen, it was a delight for the audience to watch. Yash Chopra-directed Kaala Patthar in particular, which had a huge star cast of Shashi Kapoor, Rakhi, Parveen Babi, Jeetendra, Neetu Singh, along with Big B and Shatrughan Sinha, had these two stars pitted as rivals.

The tension escalated whenever these two came on the screen together. Their fights and animosity took the film to a new height. Recently, when a scene from Kaala Patthar that showcased the rivalry between Amitabh Bachchan and the Shotgun on the screen went viral, fans immediately started speculating a possible collaboration between Yash and Allu Arjun , aka Rockybhai and Pushpa, respectively.

Many social media fans felt that this collaboration would be one of the biggest ever to happen in Indian cinema and would be a treat to the audience. While these are all speculations by the fans, filmmakers can take a cue from these suggestions and build a story to bring Bunny and Yash together.

Like it is with most of the superstar collaborations, it is not easy to come up with a story that does justice to the characters of Pushpa and Rockybhai at one go.

At the work front, Yash is working on two big projects – Ramayana and Toxic, whereas Allu Arjun is gearing up to work in Atlee’s next before he starts Pushpa 3.
