Popular sitcom Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah has been making headlines for the last couple of days. It all began with reports of Dilip Joshi aka Jethalal, and Munmun Dutta aka Babitaji quitting the show. However, recently, the show's maker, Asit Kumarr Modi, broke his silence on the matter and revealed the truth.

Asit Modi Busts Rumours

During a recent interview with Money Control, Asit Modi talked about the rumours of Dilip Joshi and Munmun Dutta's exit from the show. He debunked the rumours and said, "As you know, social media these days has become so negative that you should try to keep a positive mindset. And Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is a completely positive show. It’s a family show that spreads happiness. So some people should think positively about it."

"It’s not right to spread rumours over small things or say anything inappropriate. That’s not a good thing," he added.

Truth Behind Dilip and Munmun's Absence From Show

Further, Modi also explained the reason behind Dilip and Munmun's absence from the last few episodes. He said, "Lekin kuch nahi hai, sab log hamari team ka part hai. Kuch unke personal reasons the toh us time nahi the. To aise koi baat nahi hai." (But there’s nothing like that, everyone is part of our team. They were not present at that time due to some personal reasons. So, there’s no such issue.)

Munmun On Rumours of Quitting Show

Earlier on Monday, Munmun Dutta also clarified that she is not quitting TMKOC. She took to her Instagram handle and shared a clip from the shooting sets of the show. In the clip, she was seen shooting for an upcoming scene, and it also offered some behind-the-scenes footage from the actress' makeup room.
