Social media users on Sunday woke up to a heart-wrenching picture of the ‘King of Comedy’ Brahmanandam sitting on a wheelchair that has spent chills down the spine of all his fans. The legendary comedian and Padma Shri winner is getting old and the internet is heartbroken after seeing the pictures.

In the pictures, he can be seen sitting on a wheelchair, leaving social media users in tears. The picture has reminded fans of the iconic roles of the comedian who holds the Guinness World Record for the most screen credits for a living actor, appearing in over 1000 films to date. He has been honoured with honorary doctorate by Acharya Nagarjuna University and also the Padma Shri, the fourth-highest civilian award in India, for his contribution to Art.

Son of a carpenter, his journey from a lecturer to India’s biggest comedian is remarkable and very inspiring. Emotional netizens thanked the ‘King of Comedy’ for making everyone’s childhood beautiful.

Last month, he had hosted a star-studded wedding ceremony of his son and daughter-in-law in Hyderabad. Several celebrities from the Telugu film industry as well as politicians graced the wedding festivity. Brahmanandam’s younger son Siddharth got married to his fiancé Aishwarya at the luxurious ITC Kohinoor Hotel in Hyderabad. 

Stylish star Allu Arjun who missed the wedding later paid a visit to the legendary comedian at his residence. He made a personal visit to the ‘Comedy King’ and sought the legend’s blessings. Pictures of their meeting had taken social media by storm.
