It was the Deols who stole the show in 2023. While veteran actor Dharmendra wowed his fans in a romantic role in Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2 rocked the box office. The two weren’t done when Bobby Deol made a stupendous comeback with ‘Animal’.
In the latest episode of Kapil Sharma’s Netflix Show, Sunny and Bobby Deol who are going to grace the couch shared their struggling period and recalled what a great year 2023 was for their family. Bobby Deol could literally be seen crying and trying hard to hold his tears when Sunny recalled their hard days.
“1960 se limelight mein hai, aur kayee saal se koshish kar rahe they, par somehow kuch cheezein ho nahin rahi thi. Phir mere bête ki Shaadi huyi, uske baad Gadar ayi, uske pehle papa ki film ayi. Kuch yakeen nahi ho raha tha ke Rab kitho aa gaya! Uske baad Animal ayi, phatte hee chak de,” Sunny recalled.
This left Bobby Deol teary eyed and emotional. He also went on to praise his elder brother Sunny and said, “Real life main bhi koi hai strong, superman toh woh Bhaiya hain.”
Sunny also shared a hilarious anecdote of how Dharmendra tells them to behave like his friends and when they do so, he starts behaving like a dad.
“Papa bolte hain ayo mere saath betho, mere dost bano. Phir jab hum dost banke kuch bol dete hain, phir woh papa ban jate hain,” Sunny Deol hilariously added. The two brothers then added that Deols were very romantic in nature.
‘Humara Dil Kabhi Bharta Nahin,” Bobby Deol ended. The episode seems to be a roller-coaster ride of both fun, laughter and tears of joy and will be worth watching.
