Ekta Kapoor takes her feud with Ram Kapoor to next level; Taunts actor saying, 'Hum...

Ekta Kapoor and Ram Kapoor are two big television personalities. Interestingly, both were on good terms until recently when a small remark by Ram Kapoor triggered an unexpected war of words between him and the head of Balaji Telefilms. Surprisingly, Ram Kapoor earlier was a part of Ekta’s hit serials like Bade Achhe Lagte Hai and Kavita.

What exactly happened between Ekta and Ram Kapoor?

Ram Kapoor who is quite popular both among Bollywood and Indian television fans was quite obese when he played the lead role of Ram Kapoor in Bade Achhe Lagte Hai. Even then he received a lot of love from the fans, especially middle-aged ladies who loved his Golu-molu appearance. Now the actor has lost a lot of weight and has been giving interviews related to the same on various digital platforms.

During one such podcast with Siddharth Kannan, Ram Kapoor casually mentioned how an intimate scene was inserted into Bade Achhe Lagte Hai on the insistence of Ekta Kapoor although it was earlier not part of the story. He said, “Ekta’s the one who wrote the scene, wanted us to do the scene… I told Ekta, ‘Are you sure? Ye television mein pehle kabhi hua nahi hai, it was the first kiss of television, which is a big thing. And three generations watch (the show) together… but Ekta was very confident ki wo karna hai…. I said, okay, I’ll first get a go-ahead from my wife… Fir Maine Sakshi ko bola ki look, I will handle Ekta, if you have a problem, tell me."

He further added that while Sakshi’s parents trusted him for the intimate scene, it was Ekta who later on suffered for it as the TRP got hit due to the kissing scene.

Ekta Kapoor got offended, hit back at Ram Kapoor

These words of Ram Kapoor left Ekta Kapoor offended who hit back at him saying, “Unprofessional actors giving interviews about my shows should shut up. False information and skewed stories, can only last till I talk. But there is dignity in silence." She even took a dig at Ram Kapoor’s drastic weight loss which did not go down well with Gautami Kapoor, Ram’s wife.

She jumped into the feud saying, “Kyunki humein bade nahi chote he acche lagte hain.' And it seems Ekta Kapoor is not in the mood to end this and has now taken the feud to next level saying, “Hum bade hi accche lagte hai.” Now it would be interesting to see how this feud ends.
