Nitesh Tiwari's Ram Navami post triggers huge discussions; Fans demand update on Ranbir Kapoor-led Ramayana

On the eve of Ram Navami today, Nitesh Tiwari shared a poster on his Instagram related to Lord Ram. Fans were expecting a post on Ramayana from Nitesh as well as the lead star cast of Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi but were hugely disappointed when it turned out to be just a fan art poster.

As is known Ramayana is being directed by Dangal fame director Nitesh Tiwari and will be made in two parts. Apart from the fact that it is based on India’s biggest mythological epic, Ramayana also is a big-budget movie with a huge star cast along with Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, KGF fame Yash, and Sunny Deol. That is why fans expected that makers could have used this opportunity to release a proper poster or at least the first look of Ranbir or Sai as Ram and Sita respectively.

Fans want a definite announcement related to Ramayana

While followers of Nitesh Tiwari appreciated the director sharing the fan art by naveenconcepts, they are more interested in knowing how the movie is shaping and when will it be released. Tentatively Ramayana’s first part will be released in 2026 but a proper release date has not yet been announced. One of the followers commented, “Kuch announcement bhi kar di jiye kripya....ye kya hain😮‍💨.”

Another user wondered what has made the makers take the help of fan art when a maximum portion of the first part of Ramayana has already been shot. He asked, “Kuch ajeeb nahi lag raha bc movie ke 1 part ki shooting poori ho chuki hai fir bhi in movie makers ko fan art poster ki photo post karni pad rahi hai kya ye sahi time nahi tha shree ram ka look reveal karne ka movie se mujhe nahi pata makers ki kya soch hai par mujhe ye step galat laga.”

After the massive debacle of Prabhas -led Adipurush fans are sceptical of Bollywood making movies on Ramayana and Mahabharata. That is why they are anxious to know how the film is shaping and whether the director has been able to do full justice to the story or not. Interestingly, earlier when Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi’s pictures as Ram and Sita respectively leaked online fans were not happy with their appearance.

That is why most of the anxious web users have demanded an official update and announcement from Nitesh Tiwari and the production team.
