Joint Collector Aparajita marries IPS trainee Devendra at her office in Andhra Pradesh
A joint collector in Andhra Pradesh’s Krishna district has been hogging the limelight after tying nuptial knot with an IPS trainee at a modest ceremony at her office. Aparajita exchanged garlands with IPS trainee Devendra Kumar at her office in the presence of the staff.
The modest marriage ceremony of the two bureaucrats has become the talk of the town. When people prefer destination weddings and involve elaborate celebrations, this modest marriage of the couple has been grabbing all the eyeballs.
Both the IAS officer Aparajita Singh and trainee IPS officer Devendra Kumar looked extremely happy as the couple exchanged the garlands. After the two bureaucrats registered their marriage, they exchanged flowers in the presence of the staff at the collectorate office.

Krishna District Collector P Raja Babu was also present during the wedding.
For the unversed, IAS officer Aparajita is currently serving as the joint collector of Krishna district in Andhra Pradesh. On the other hand, Devendra who hails from Rajasthan is currently undergoing IPS training at Hyderabad Police Academy.
Worth mentioning, two other IAS officers had married in a similar manner in Andhra Pradesh. Vizinagaram District Collector Nagalakshmi Selvarajan, 2012 batch IAS officer married to Srikakulam Joint Collector Naveen Kumar, 2019 batch IAS officer at Tirupati.
