Violent clash between 2 groups spreads unrest in Paradip

A violent clash between two groups of youths led to chaos in Paradip, Jagatsinghpur district. The disturbing footage of the youths attacking each other has quickly been spreading across social media platforms. 

The incident unfolded in the IFFCO Chhak of Paradip, showcasing extreme aggression as assailants attacked each other. Known for its usually bustling trade, the highway descended into disorder, leaving bystanders alarmed and fearful.

While no exact reason for the clash was known immediately, preliminary reports suggest previous enmity to be the fallout of the attack. 

Local authorities suggest that the brawl originated from an ongoing dispute between residents of Balijhara slum and Sub-Station slum. This altercation escalated, spilling onto the busy national highway late on Tuesday evening, causing fear and concern among the residents.

The clash occurred at around 9 pm. The local police station was notified who swiftly dispatched a Police Control Room (PCR) vehicle to the location. However, upon their arrival, those involved in the clash escaped after seeing the cops, evading immediate arrest.

Efforts to apprehend those responsible are in progress, as the police continue their investigation into the incident. While no arrests have been made yet, law enforcement is actively investigating the incident.
