Aged Couple Murdered In Namakkal

Namakkal(Tamil Nadu): Two aged couple were found brutally murdered in their farmhouse in a village in the district today.

Muthuswamy (70) and his wife Perumayee (65), residents of Thuvakkampalayam village, were found dead with cut injuries on their head and neck, District Superintendent of Police Pravesh Kumar said. The couple has two sons involved in the rig business.

The motive for the murder was not known, police said adding the couple had huge properties and Muthuswamy was also into money lending business.
