Woman accuses husband of maligning her image

Hyderabad: A woman has lodged a complaint with Cyber Crime police station here alleging that her husband had put her contact number online with an intention to malign her, police said today.

The woman, who had filed a complaint of harassment against her husband with Malakpet police station earlier, lodged a complaint with the cyber police yesterday alleging that her husband Murali Krishna uploaded her phone number on a website and mentioned "for call girls" contact this number, a senior police officer said.

"The woman yesterday lodged a complaint in this regard suspecting the role of her husband. She has also stated that her sister and mother were getting calls from unknown persons on the number," Deputy Commissioner of Police (Detective Department) G Pala Raju said, adding that no one has been arrested so far and they were probing the matter.
