New Delhi: At least four people died and about 13 others were injured when a bus carrying over 20 passengers fell into a gorge at Anantagiri near Araku in Visakhapatnam district on Friday, police said.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi condoled the death of people in the road accident in Andhra Pradesh.

In his condolences message, Modi said, "Distressed to hear about the accident in Visakhapatnam, AP. Condolences to the families of those who lost their lives. Prayers with the injured. May they recover soon."

Three Dead, 22 Injured As Bus Overturns In Rajasthan

In another incident in Rajasthan's Chittorgarh district, three passengers were killed and 22 others injured when a bus overturned while its driver was trying to save a motorcyclist.

The accident occurred near Rithola crossing when the bus was on the way from Bhilwara to Udaipur, they said.

While trying to avoid hitting the bike, the bus driver lost control over the wheels.

Three passengers in the bus died on the spot and 22 others were injured, two of them referred to Udaipur for treatment, police said.

The other injured were rushed to Sanwalia hospital in Chittorgarh, they said.
