Bhubaneswar: Putting all speculations about his giving up arms to an end, top Maoist Sabyasachi Panda on Saturday said that he has no plans to surrender. In an audio tape released to the media the rebel said, “The reports that I would surrender were being circulated in media with a bad intention”.

The audio released on Saturday came barely a week after his wife Mili Panda said he would surrender if the government withdrew cases against him. She however subsequently rejected the surrender of panda saying, the act would amount to committing suicide.
