Odisha has a major contribution to India's third lunar mission. Many critical components of Chandrayaan-3 have been manufactured at the Central Tool Room and Training Center or CTTC in Bhubaneswar. The Launch vehicle and equipment worth Rs. 12 crore for the spacecraft including valves, internal navigation system, gyroscope, laser gyro, temperature sensor etc have been built here. A special team of around 100 experts at the CTTC worked day and night for 2 years to make these devices. For Chandrayaan-1 and 2, CTTC had also built many complex equipment within a limited time and provided it to the ISRO.
