The first patient who received post-COVID ECMO treatment at the SCB Hospital in Cuttack died on Saturday night
Extra-Corporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO) services will begin from August 15 at SCB Medical College & Hospital in Cuttack.
73-year-old Covid patient undergoing treatment at SCB Hospital died after collapsing in toilet on Tuesday night.
These visuals are purportedly from the Non-Trauma casualty ward of SCB Medical College & Hospital in Cuttack, which is the premier hospital in the State.
All the required technical personnel have been selected and will soon leave for Kolkata to get training.
In a major development, AIIMS (All India Institute of Medical Sciences) Bhubaneswar will procure two ECMO (Extra Corporeal Membrane Oxygenation) machines for the treatment of critical Covid-19 patients in the state.
