Cuttack SCB staff boozes in ticket counter, video goes viral

A purported video of Srirama Chandra Bhanja (SCB) Medical College and Hospital staff consuming alcohol inside a ticket counter of the premier health institute in Cuttack has gone viral on various social media platforms.

Though it is not clear when and in which department the video was shot, it is suspected that the visual was from the causality department of the institute.

Meanwhile, Dr Abinash Rout, administrative officer of SCB Hospital said necessary action will be taken against the staff after examining the video.

“I just came across the viral video on a social media platform. We will verify the video and take necessary action against the staff if proven guilty,” Rout said.

In July, a purported video of a man taking bribe from a youth on pretext of providing him a job at the premier health institute had also gone viral in internet.

In the video, the man was seen sitting on a motorcycle and taking Rs 20,000 bribe and documents from a youth promising him a job at the hospital.
