The ‘RRR’ mania has already gripped Japan. The SS Rajamouli directorial has been creating waves in Japan.

SS Rajamouli’s epic blockbuster RRR is undoubtedly one of the very few Indian films which went on to become global hit.

The move was to celebrate the successful reopening of theatres after the Covid-19 pandemic and an attempt to express 'Thank You' to the moviegoers as they have played a vital role in reviving the cinema after the pandemic. Also, it is an invitation to those movie lovers who remained away from the theatres following the Covid restrictions. 

According to FFI president TP Aggarwal, "Chhello Show" was unanimously chosen over films such as SS Rajamouli's "RRR", Ranbir Kapoor-led "Brahmastra: Part One Shiva", Vivek Agnihotri's "The Kashmir Files" and R Madhavan's directorial debut "Rocketry".

A user has compared iconic scenes from Hollywood biggies with some famous scenes from SS Rajamouli's movies like Baahubali and RRR.

It is well known to every movie lover that Sholay initially received negative critic reviews and also had a bad commercial response. However, later it emerged as a box office success breaking several records. Even after all these years, the movie has clinched the first spot in the list of 'Top 10 Indian Films" of all time in the British Film Institute's 2002 poll. 

"As children, we heard about these astras but have never seen their splendour," the ace director said.

The charm of Aamir Khan's Laal Singh Chaddha and Akshay Kumar's Raksha Bandhan seems to be nowhere in the country. On the other hand, Karthikeya 2 has emerged as the first choice of movie lovers in the Hindi belt and it is expected that the domination will continue over the weekend.

After 21 years, the media is abuzz that India has a chance to find a place in the 95th Oscars nomination list. The buzz stormed the internet after Variety, a leading American media company exclusively known for featuring entertainment news, included an Indian film in its list of possible contenders.

Google has also recognised the stature of RRR on the global platform and added a running horse and a bike to its search button which will come up when searched with the keyword 'RRR.'

Aamir shared the anecdote recently on 'Kaun Banega Crorepati' when he was posed with a question as to which film inspired Rajamouli to make 'RRR' during the season premiere of the Amitabh Bachchan hosted show.

Now five months after the release of the south magnum opus, the craze for the musical masterpiece is very much alive in the heart and mind of the fans. 

'RRR' actor Jr. NTR took to his Instagram Monday afternoon and shared this adorable picture, with the caption "Moments like these".

The ATPG took the decision after a meeting with producers, exhibitors, distributors and studio owners, announcing that they would be withholding all shoots until they can sit down and discuss ways to find solutions to their problems.
