  • A social media user has compared some scenes from Rajamouli's movies with Hollywood biggies.
  • Netizens have said that Rajamouli has copied frame by frame from some hit Hollywood movies.

SS Rajamouli is currently the most celebrated director in India. His last three movies- Baahubali 1, Baahubali 2, and RRR have been blockbusters across the world. While the stories are original, it is the presentation and visualization of Rajamouli that have made these movies such big hits. But now an intelligent netizen has compared Baahubali and RRR scenes with the scenes of some Hollywood biggies.

Through direct comparison, he has tried to show how some of the most iconic moments in Rajamouli’s movies have been allegedly copied from Hollywood superhits. Some of the comparisons include Rana Daggubati’s styling with Avengers, Tamannaah Bhatia’s entry with a scene in Avatar, Prabhas climbing the mountain with 300, romantic moments in Baahubali with King Kong, and many more.

Interestingly, most of these scenes look as if they have been directly lifted from these Hollywood movies and it is quite a shock for Rajamouli fans.

One of the users who was surprised by this comparison said that the scenes are not inspired but rather copied. Another user said that the director has copied frame to frame.

One or two or a couple of scenes that look similar can be a coincidence but more than 50 scenes look copied and it puts a question mark on the originality of Rajamouli’s movies.

Speaking on the same, a user has also said that at least Laal Singh Chaddha was an official remake but this is a direct copy. Bollywood filmmakers have been time and again slammed for copying Southern movies and even Hollywood content.

However, this research conducted by the user named Shantanu has raised the question whether big directors like Rajamouli also smartly copy Hollywood hits and present them so effectively in their movies.
