With water level in several rivers in the Mahanadi basis rising, a school in Gatiroutpatana area of Cuttack was marooned in floodwater following which the students and the teachers have to be rescued.

WATCH| Indian Army Rescues Bakarwals Stranded In Heavy Snowfall

Indian army rescued a group of Bakarwals consisting of four children and three adults who were stranded due to a snow storm for the past 2 days near Chhut Pass in Jammu & Kashmir. Army soldiers from Sangam base noticed the stranded group and approached them. It was learnt they the group had lost most of their livestock and their makeshift tent was wrecked by strong winds, consequently leaving them with no food.
