Pramila Mallik, BJD MLA from Binjharpur (Jajpur) has been accused of violating the model code of conduct by allegedly threatening to stop providing benefits of various schemes to people if they do not vote for the ruling party in the Panchayat polls.
In the viral video that is doing the rounds on social media, a political meeting was seen being organised on the premises of Tarini Mahavidyalaya (college) at Mahakalpada in Kendrapara district. Hundreds of people were seen present in the meeting.
The three-tier Panchayat elections in Odisha will be held in five phases starting from February 16, 2022.
