20-year-old Odia girl, Riya Swain, living in Palsana in Gujarat’s Surat fought off three burglers to save her family from attack on Friday.
These CCTV footages show a thief seeking the blessings of the deity before committing theft in the same temple. This incident is from a Hanuman Temple in Thane. The thief was seen touching the deity’s feet before stealing the donation box. Police have arrested the accused and recovered the donation box.
The incident took place between 2 am to 3 am while thieves entered from the balcony door at the backyards of the building. The main door was locked so the thieves entered from the back door. Later, police reached the spot and entered the house by breaking open the main door. The entire house was vandalised.
