Viral Audio Clip Row: Orissa High Court Grants Interim Protection To OTV

Bhubaneswar: The Orissa High Court granted interim protection to the employees of Odisha Television Network in connection with a viral audio clip for which police had served notice to the media house. While granting interim protection, the High Court has asked OTV to cooperate in the investigation.

The Commissionerate Police had issued notice to OTV over a viral audio clip of a conversation between two friends about the experience at a COVID hospital. OTV had moved the court against the police notice served in the middle of the night asking its employees to appear.

OTV has always cooperated with the police in the case & will continue to do so.
