Bhubaneswar: Odisha on Monday reported 2,003 COVID-19 recoveries taking the total number of recoveries to 2,66,105 in the State.

As informed by the Health and Family Welfare Department, out of the 2003 recoveries, Khordha reported the maximum 229 while Angul reported 159. Similarly, 141 patients recuperated from Cuttack, 131 from Sundergarh, 104 from Balasore and 101 from Mayurbhanj.

The lowest recovery (5) was reported from Gajapati district.

Earlier in the day, Odisha reported 1480 COVID-19 positive cases and 14 deaths.

With this, the COVID-19 caseload rose to 2,82,695 while the death toll mounted to 1259.
