Cuttack: Ollywood actress and wife of Lok Sabha member Anubhav Mohanty, Varsha Priyadarshini moved Odisha State Commission for Women (OSCW) reportedly over her ongoing marital discord on Tuesday.
The exact reason of her latest plea at the SCW however still remains unknown. Varsha had earlier lodged a police complaint alleging offensive statements made against her on social media platform on December 9, 2020.
She had also produced the screenshots containing the vulgar remarks before the Purighat Police Station in Cuttack.
A day ago, the matrimonial conflict between the couple took a new twist after Delhi-based journalist Jagrati Shukla, who described herself as one of the good friends of the MP, cautioned the ‘fans of Varsha’ for trolling her on social media platform by using ‘sick, demeaning, derogatory and unacceptable abuses’ against her.
Prior to that, Varsha had lodged a complaint with the Purighat Police station in Cuttack on November 5 in which she alleged that a conspiracy has been hatched to throw her out of the MP’s house. She also alleged that she had recently received an anonymous letter which threatened her to vacate the house immediately.
The celebrity couple (Anubhav-Varsha) has been in news for the last several months for their matrimonial dispute. The matter turned ugly after Varsha moved Cuttack SDJM court against her husband Anubhav Mohanty and filed a domestic violence case. Her husband, a BJD MP has also filed a divorce petition in Delhi-based court.
