Bhubaneswar: A day after Ollywood actress Barsha Priyadarshini filed a domestic violence case against her husband and BJD MP from Kendrapara, Anubhav Mohanty, the latter on Sunday filed a divorce petition in Delhi.
According to source, the lawmaker has filed a 47-page divorce petition in Delhi’s Patiala court.
In his petition, the BJD leader has reportedly alleged that his wife was not allowing sexual relations and natural conjugal life.
The actress said ‘no’ to physical relation on the first day of marriage and sought three to four months time to get into physical relations, Anubhav said in his petition stating that he always respected to her decision.

Anubhav's lawyer, Ashwini Dubey informed OTV that the actor had tried for a mutual divorce before filing the petition on July 19. "He & his wife Barsha Priyadarshini had no physical relationship after marriage. Besides, Barsha was not in good terms with the actor's family members," claimed Dubey.
Speaking on the matter, ruling-BJD MLA Arabinda Dhali said, "It's his (Anubhav) personal matter and he will resolve it. It will not have any impact on the party as Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik never encourages injustice."
On Saturday, Barsha filed a case under Section 12 of the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act against the MP for allegedly assaulting and harassing her.
Barsha has alleged that Anubhav is a habitual drunkard and he often drinks with his friends at home. The MP also assaulted and harassed her mentally, she alleged.
The actress further alleged that whenever she tried to prevent Anubhav from drinking, he would get violent and physically assault her and tried to throw her out of the house.
