Varsha Priyadarshini Lodges Police Complaint Against In-Laws After Asked To Vacate Home

Cuttack: The on-going marital discord between BJD MP Anubhav Mohanty and his wife Varsha Priyadarshini took another turn after the Ollywood actress lodged a fresh complaint against her in-laws alleging that she has been ‘threatened’ to vacate the house.

In the complaint lodged with the Purighat Police station in Cuttack on November 5, Varsha alleged that a conspiracy has been hatched to throw her out of the MP’s house. She also alleged that she had recently received an anonymous letter which threatened her to vacate the house immediately.

“Due to persistent mental harassment I have now fallen sick. There is a threat to my life and even my family members are being harassed,” the Ollywood actress stated in her complaint.

It is pertinent to mention here that the Varsha had made similar allegations against her in-laws in an earlier complaint filed with the Purighat police station on October 27. In the complaint, the actress had raised fears that consorted efforts were being made to throw her out of the house in a conspired manner.

Meanwhile, her mother-in-law, Madhusmita Mohanty lodged a complaint against the actress on November 3 accusing her of creating disturbances in the household without any reason.

In her complaint, Madhusmita said, “As the house is now some 60-years-old, it needs immediate repairs. The septic tank of the house also needs repairs for which all members are required to vacate or relocate to another place for at least 10 days. However, Varsha is unwilling to shift,” she alleged.
