Cuttack: The city of Cuttack on Friday reported 74 COVID-19 cases, a little more than yesterday's tally of 67 positive cases. Besides, 63 new recoveries were also reported in the last 24 hours.

Taking to twitter, the Cuttack Municipal Corporation stated, "Out of the 160 new COVID19 positive cases reported today in Cuttack district, 74 cases belong to Cuttack city (CMC area)."

From the 74 new cases, 14 cases were reported from institutional quarantines, 19 cases were from home quarantines and 41 were local contact cases.

With this, the tally of infected persons within the CMC's jurisdiction reached 14424. While the total recoveries in the city climbed to 13483, The total death toll so far is 66.

Earlier on Thursday, the Cuttack city had reported 67 COVID positive cases and 66 recoveries.
