Thunderstorm activity to return from April 8 in Odisha; IMD issues yellow alert for several districts

Thunderstorm Warning

The people in Odisha are currently experiencing scorching heat wave conditions. However, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Sunday predicted that there will be rise in the maximum temperature by 2 to 3 degree C for the next 24 hours and no large change thereafter over the districts of Odisha.

The IMD has also predicted that Kalbaisakhi related rainfall is likely to return to Odisha from April 8, 2025. A yellow warning has also been issued for several districts of the state.
