Elephants have been associated with different religious and cultural events across India since time immemorial. The majestic beings are closely associated with different rituals and festivals even today. Mostly in different states in South India, elephants are decorated beautifully for different occasions.

The significance of elephants and their association with different religious activities is quite surprising as well as interesting. During different festivals, these decorated elephants take a tour of villages/cities.

However, here we bring a heart-warming video that shows a Tusker taking a ‘jackfruit break’ during carnival.

As seen in the video, the decorated Tusker is walking down a street with three persons perched on it. Two other people are seen walking on both sides of the elephant guiding the giant being on its route. As it seems, the elephant along with others is crossing a marketplace as there are several makeshift shops and the place is crowded.

However, suddenly it turns towards its right and stretches out its trunk. As the camera pans, the Tusker is seen stretching its trunk to reach the jackfruits hanging on a huge tree.

It instantly plucks two jackfruits and starts walking on its route while putting the jackfruits inside its mouth.

People watching this cute gesture of the majestic being seem to be quite elated.
