ICC ODI World Cup 2023 is just around the corner and fans across the globe are eagerly awaiting the mega event’s start in India on October 5. The opening match of the mega event will be played between England and New Zealand.
As the cricketing world gears up for this much-anticipated event, former India spinner Harbhajan Singh has offered his insights and predictions on the top four teams that Bhajji believes will make it to the semifinals.
“People are saying Pakistan could advance to the semifinals but in the 50-over format, they are just average. They play good cricket in T20Is,” said Bhajji on his official YouTube channel.
As per Bhajji, India, Australia, England, and New Zealand are his four picks for the semifinals of the ODI World Cup 2023.
“My fourth pick would be New Zealand. India, Australia, England and New Zealand are my four semifinalists for the World Cup,” said Bhajji.
Earlier, former India captain and legendry all-rounder Kapil Dev had said that India seem to be fully ready for the World Cup.
“I think if we come in top 4, that is more important. You can’t say, right now, we are favorites. Our team is very good. We have to work very hard. I know about my team. I don’t know about other teams...Indian team is ready to play and win the Championship,” Kapil had said.
