Team India skipper Rohit Sharma is currently going through a horrible form. As a result, India’s performance has been severely affected in the ongoing Border-Gavaskar series in Australia.

Though Rohit demoted him to the middle order in the second Test against Australia, his poor form with the bat continued and India suffered a humiliating loss against the formidable hosts.

Rohit disappointed in the second Test against Australia in Adelaide by scoring just nine runs, including two innings.

In response, former star off-spinner Harbhajan Singh opened up on India skipper Rohit Sharma’s recent form and is of the opinion that the heavyweight Indian batter needs to make runs.

According to Bhajji (as Harbhajan is popularly known), Rohit will think better and do better things if he scores some runs. He also hoped that the India skipper would put some runs on the scoreboard soon.

“As a captain, I would like Rohit Sharma to make runs. When he scores runs, he will think better and do better things. No matter how big a player is, he is always worried about his performance,” said Harbhajan during a recent interaction.

“There is no doubt that when a player scores runs, he makes a better decision. So, let’s hope that Rohit Sharma scores some runs so that his captaincy gets better,” he added.
