Prime Minister Narendra Modi has set the perfect narrative for the Odisha unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to accomplish its mission of coming to power for the first time in the state. However, the ruling Biju Janata Dal (BJD) is also trying hard to stop the saffron tsunami in Odisha.

Amidst the ongoing tussle between BJP and BJD to grab power, PM Modi attended a series of public meetings at different locations in Odisha on Saturday. The public meetings were organised as part of party’s ‘Vijay Sankalp’samavesh for the 2024 elections in Odisha.

Earlier, PM Narendra Modi held a massive roadshow in Bhubaneswar on Friday. While speaking to a national channel during the roadshow, PM Modi said a deep connection has developed with the people of Odisha despite the language barrier. Moreover, his roadshow in Bhubaneswar is going to be a turning point in the life of the State, said Modi.

While addressing a massive gathering at Kandhamal today, PM Modi reiterated that the BJP will form double engine government in Odisha for the first time here. “In Odisha, the election is important for development and Viksit Bharat vision. One vote here will ensure a double-engine government and for the first time the double engine government in Odisha. I appeal people to vote for BJP candidates and send 21 Lok Sabha candidates to the Parliament, “said Modi.
