Launching a salvo at the Odisha government, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai said that the Biju Janata Dal (BJD) is treating tribals as a vote bank, but is not working for their development.
Addressing the BJP’s Vijay Sankalp Samavesh at Kundra in Koraput district of Odisha, Sai said that the BJD-led state government is not implementing many Central schemes including the Ayushman Bharat in Odisha and all these problems will no longer exist after the installation of the BJP’s double-engine government.
“The state government is changing the names of the housing schemes. After the double-engine government, the development of Odisha will be faster. This time, Odisha is going to have the double-engine government,” he asserted.
Later speaking on the sidelines of the rally, the Chhattisgarh Chief Minister said, "The trust of the people in the BJP as well as in the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi has grown exponentially in Odisha and in the country.”

He added that in the last 10 years, the Prime Minister has worked for the development of the rural poor, farmers and labourers among the 140 crore people and treated all as his family.
“Pucca houses were provided to the poor while gas cylinders were supplied to women in villages. Bank accounts were opened for each family. Electricity and water were supplied to most households. People in Odisha are impressed by the development agenda of the Prime Minister. In the upcoming elections, the BJP will register victory in the Assembly polls,” he observed.
